How to manually update Sony Xperia P to KitKat 4.4

Sony Xperia P is the best smart mid-range device running on Android 2.3 Ginger bread.The Xperia was officially announced in February 2012.The Sony Xperia P had some very impressive hardware along with eye caching design.

Warnings :-

>First of all You need to fully charge your device to prevent interruption during the process.
>you will bot be able to receive any official firmware updates once you install a custom ROM on your Sony Xperia P.
>Must be installed proper USB drivers on your PC.
>Important is that to backup up your data before process will be start,because after starting of process you will lose your device's's data.

>Enable USB debugging mode.


How to update Sony Xperia P to KitKat 4.4 manually :

step 1 >First of all, connect your Xperia P to the Computer.


step 2>then after copy the ROM kit and the Google Apps Kit file to root directory of device's memory card. 


step 3>After file transfer Disconnect your Sony Xperia P from the PC.

step 4>Now Restart your Sony Xperia P in recovery mode,go to the CWM recovery press and hold HOME +VOLUME UP + POWER KEY simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
  >>In the recovery menu its necessary to always use volume keys for moving up/down and power key to select desired option 

step 5>then choose Wipe data /factory reset option from CWM  recovery menu.

step 6>now next go to Wipe Dalvik Cache option and press yes to confirm to beginning process.

step 7>now again select CWM recovery menu and select install zip from SD card option,then provide KitKat 4.4 CM11 ROM zip file when it will ask you to provide.now press the yes button to confirm to browsing the appropriate compressed file.wait for few minits.

step 8>now repeat the above step 7 again but instead of browsing the appropriate compressed file Gapps package file.

step 9>now all are complete restart your device.

step 10>it take time after starting up you see your device with latest Kitkat 4.4.
